Our Spiritual Names
Brian got the name Anahata when he chose a spiritual name at a spiritual gathering. He wanted to know the name of the inner-sounds that he was hearing and he was told it was ‘Anahata’, the unstruck sound -The eternal sound of the Universe and the name of the Heart chakra! Six months later, Brian was amazed when his teacher Altair told him his spiritual name was Anahata!
Caileigh received the nickname Calliope in middle school. During high school and college, Caileigh loved singing in acapella groups. It wasn’t until after she graduated that she realized how perfectly the name Calliope spoke to her ability to bring harmony to the world through song! Calliope -the head muse of epic poetry- was known for inspiring heros through her divine voice.
Brian and Caileigh’s spiritual names echo the power of sound. We are all vibrational beings – We are muses – singing the song of ourselves in one great sound current!
